Discount Cards
2011-12 Discount cards can be purchased by contacting the band via email at mohiganband@gmail.com, from band students, as well as at band events, while supplies last . Cost is $10.00 each, buy 10 and either get an 11th free or $10.00 in your childs student accout. Please bring exact change or checks. A sample of the card is posted on the fundraising page. Calendar Raffle
The band is selling raffle tickets that will coincide with the WV Lottery Daily Three drawings in February. Buy a $20 dollar card with a number 000 through 999 and win if your number matches the number drawn daily Monday through Saturday. If you number is drawn, you will win $100.00 Monday-Thursday and Saturday, $200.00 on Fridays, and $250.00 on Valentines Day. Macy’s Commemorative Book
The Dominion Post has commissioned a book to commemorate the Morgantown High School band’s trips to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, this past year and 47 years ago. The book will include photos and stories from the newspaper from both trips, plus additional photos. It would be a soft-cover, coffee table book, and would retail at $24.95 (plus tax) per piece. These are on sale now at the Dominion Post.
Alumni Band Shirts
Alumni band shirts are now available. Contact Jeff Davis through the band email address, mohiganband@gmail.com to purchase. Buy a shirt to show your support and school spirit. They are $15.00 and a photo of the shirt is on the alumni page. Click on the link to the right. Proceeds go to help support scholarships and other activities that the alumni band contributes to, including a donation toward scholarshiping toward a Rose Bowl Trip.

Uniform Reminders
- The band pants are hemmed at the shoe lace tie. The hem should not break. Uniforms must be clean and wrinkle free for performances. Dinkles are to be clean and white, socks are to be real and white, gloves are to be white. Make sure your child has their complete uniform before they come to school for a performance.
Remember, performance for a band is like a test in other classes, your child must be prepared, which includes a clean, pressed uniform, clean dinkles, clean white gloves, and clean socks. Also, if you have not hemmed your child’s pants (which should have been done before the first performance to prevent damage to the pants), it needs to be done now. Your child will be removed from the performace if they are not presentable.The travel uniform includes the blue band shirts and the baseball caps. Travel uniform must be worn when the jackets are off, which includes band pants, dinkles and socks, band shirt, and baseball cap. If your child does not have the blue band shirt, they will be required to wear the full band uniform at all times. We have had too many students not abiding by the rules.
