Band Auxiliary Minutes

February 19, 2008

 

Mr. Reed introduced the uniform representative who shared the new
uniform designs. There will be an uniform management software which will assign
uniforms once individual stats are entered. All current students will be
measured next week and production will begin. It is estimated that production
will be completed 125 days after the order is placed.

 

The treasurer’s report was distributed and reviewed.

 

Freshman Step Up is scheduled for Feb. 28th at 7pm.
We need refreshments for about 100-120 students.

 

Spaghetti Dinner will be held March 4th with
meatball making on the 3rd. Two sheets were passed for sign ups.
Contact Deb Austin or Vicki Perry if interested in working.  Freshman and
Juniors are to work.

 

Stadium Seats There were  5,000 permanently installed seats and
3,000 rentals each game! Aug. 16th will be the big install day for
the fall. All students are required to either install or uninstall in order to
go to the Holiday Dance.

 

Florida Trip for next spring is already being planned. Mr. Reed
requested help from anyone who may work in the travel industry.

 

We will be recycling old uniforms into quilts, memory pillows and
framing for auction and display.

March: 1st            Jazz Ensemble 9am

                4th           Spaghetti Dinner

                14-15     Spring Show at St. Francis gym

 

During Spring Break 16 students will be going to All State and staying
at Wilson Lodge at Olgeby and performing  at John Marshall High School.

 

April: 14th             will begin after school rehearsals.
Students will meet after school on the day they do not have class.
